Various works, materials, archaeological relics, models, etc. will be exhibited and introduced to ancient Rome and Japanese bathing culture.
Ancient Rome was the most prosperous city in human history.Among them, one of the things that Japanese people are deeply interested in is thermae (public baths), and the manga "Thermae Romae" by Mari Yamazaki further heightened the sense of familiarity with thermae.
With more than 100 works such as paintings, sculptures, and archaeological artifacts, as well as videos and models on display, you will be able to feel close to the life of the people of ancient Rome who loved Thermae.In addition, Lucius, the main character of "Thermae Romae", will serve as a guide to introduce Japanese bathing culture along with ancient Roman thermae.
Just as Lucius traveled back and forth between Japan and Rome through the baths, it will be an opportunity to experience each bathing culture.

I thought it was mostly for older people, but it's free for people over 65.
