"Really, you can't shake it."

It's a word that has been said often for a long time, but every time I hear it, I feel a little uncomfortable.

``Doesn't bend, don't bend, don't shake'' were virtues from the Showa era, but now they bend, bend, bend, and sway... I think it's much nicer.

Even in yoga, when I close my eyes and do a balance pose, my teacher always says, ``It's okay to shake. Notice the current state of shaking, accept it, and enjoy the feeling.''

While I was thinking about this as I headed towards Lake Kawaguchi, I noticed that today's Mt. Fuji was exceptionally beautiful.

No matter what happens, she stands firm and radiates unwavering beauty no matter what she looks like.

And then we arrived at Cafe Hanenoha. A cafe in a detached house where a blue Western-style building stands out against red garden umbrellas.

When you enter the store, the bright, deep walnut color, the blue walls, and the multinational interior create a unique atmosphere.

A variety of antiques from Asia, such as Turkey and Thailand, to Europe, DIY furniture made from natural materials, and a large bookshelf lined with old books...it's a healing space where different cultures intersect.

A long time ago, the president of a design company said to me, ``Antiques and vintage items fit together strangely even when you combine them with foreign items or different materials.Maybe that's because they have the same roots.''

The waves of culture and times that have been passed down from generation to generation, the thoughts and techniques of the craftsmen that can be seen through them, the way the owner's breath is felt by the way they scratch and fade...

It's a wonderful miracle to think that some things have been passed from hand to hand for over 100 years without breaking.

My special seat was a sofa seat with my back to the bookshelf. You can look out over a captivating "blue world" that looks like the deep sea or the nights drawn by Chagall.

The feathers in the “Hanenoha” logo have roots… It is said that it not only rises upward like a feather, but also that it is firmly rooted in the earth and grounded.

The owner's desire is to create a place where you can connect with the earth, stabilize your energy, and feel refreshed, not just a place where you can relax on that particular day.

Charge up your energy with the 100% buckwheat flour galette “Gardeners” that I am also looking for!

This healthy galette, which can be eaten as if it were a salad, has a rich sweet and sour taste with sweet balsamic vinegar mixed with honey, and one bite will fill you with a mellow taste.

The cream cheese brings the whole thing together and elevates the galette as a meal!

They are particular about their coffee, and use raw coffee beans that are harvested that year and ground using a super roaster that is one of only a few in Japan.

For dessert, I had my favorite latte macchiato and brownie.

This latte macchiato is served in a glass so you can admire the beautiful gradation.

Hanenoha's brownies are made with buckwheat flour instead of wheat flour, organic chocolate, and cage-free eggs, making them a very healthy sweet that you can eat without feeling guilty.

The walnuts are crunchy and the texture is great!

Place yourself in a space that makes you feel comfortable and fill your stomach with the things you love. That's my way of relaxing.

And the wings of my heart can always fly freely and fluffy, and I can go anywhere.

It's not important that you don't shake, but rather that you get back to it no matter how much it shakes.

“Cafe Hanenoha” made me realize that the root of a feather is something that cannot be negotiable…It is like a starting point that you can return to even if you get lost or confused.
