Q. What prompted you to apply? What motivated you to do so?
A. One of the values I hold dear is not only making existing things even better, but also incorporating new elements that are in line with the times into existing things. I applied because I felt that this was similar to the company's policy and the feeling of remodeling. Through inspections, we can help owners understand both the good and bad parts of things they don't understand, and through the choice of remodeling, we can also show them new parts. Inspections are a job that lays the foundation for this. I was attracted to this work and entered the construction industry.
-
Q. What are your current responsibilities and what is your role?
A. I'm currently in the Inspection Department, and my job is to inspect the entire building, including the roof, exterior walls, and exterior structure, with cameras and create easy-to-understand reports for the owners. Because the condition of each building is different, I often visit a variety of buildings, and my work is essentially outside. Another feature of my job is that I can enjoy some alone time, such as listening to music while traveling. I feel the rewards of my job when I communicate with the owners during inspections, help them understand the condition of their buildings, and hear them express their gratitude, saying things like "thank you" and "good work."
-
Q. What skills are required for the job?
A. The rewarding part of this job is being able to explain the structure and knowledge of buildings to owners and inspect them without any problems. My previous job was in a completely different field, but after joining the company, I naturally gained knowledge and became interested in architecture during the three months of training. Furthermore, the other departments and superiors are kind and reliable, so even those with no experience in architecture can work with confidence.
-
Q. How have you progressed in your career since joining the company?
-
Q. What is the environment and atmosphere like within your department?
A. It's a friendly company culture that makes it easy to communicate across departmental boundaries. There are many opportunities to chat with sales and design staff, and casual conversations can sometimes lead to useful hints for work. It's also easy to take paid leave, making it a comfortable working environment.
-
Q. What are your hobbies and how do you relieve stress in your private time?
A. On my days off, I refresh myself by doing things I like, such as going on trips, shopping, or going for drives. I believe it's important to "enjoy to the fullest the things you can only do now."
-
Q. Please tell us about your future goals and prospects.
A. My goal is to grow. I am working hard and doing what I can now, with the intention of gradually increasing what I can do. I will work hard and keep on inputting and outputting, and eventually I will become an inspector that everyone can rely on.
