Hanamidai, located at an altitude of about 600m, is a scenic spot known only to those in the know who can enjoy an outstanding view of Mt. Fuji and the Southern Alps with remaining snow over the peach fields.
To get to Hanamidai, there are many narrow roads that cannot be passed by a car, such as footpaths and farm roads, so renting a bicycle is the perfect way to get there!
You can enjoy discoveries and encounters that are a little different from driving by cycling along the farm roads colored with flowers while feeling the spring breeze.
The beautiful landscape created by the peach blossoms carefully tended one by one by peach farmers will be certified as a Globally Important Agricultural Heritage System in 2022.
Overwhelming scenery that looks like a pink carpet is spread out is a precious property of Yamanashi that has been carefully preserved throughout its long history.
Let's go see a special moment only at this time! [Note] The peach orchard is privately owned, so please do not enter the peach field to pick flowers or take pictures.
Peach Cafe Nakanishi is directly managed by Nakanishi Farm, which has been growing peaches for a long time in Ichinomiya-cho, Fuefuki City, one of the prefecture's leading peach-producing areas. You can enjoy sweets made with peaches regardless of the season, and they are very popular with both locals and tourists! One of the attractions is the gorgeous parfait that brings out the maximum flavor of peaches.
The classic ``3 types of peach parfait'' is made with 1 types of gorgeously cut compote peaches. This parfait is a masterpiece that can only be found in this region, where you can enjoy a variety of fruits in one parfait, with sauce from plums grown in the homestead and Shine Muscat, Yamanashi's signature fruit.
There are also other food items on the menu such as ``Peach Curry'' with peach jam and ``Peach Caskute Boule'' with compote, so it's perfect for lunch. For souvenirs, try Nakanishi Farm's proud processed peach products, such as peach compote and peach juice, which are packed with fresh flavor.
A restaurant where you can enjoy local Yamanashi cuisine that has been operating for over 25 years in Ichinomiya-cho, Fuefuki City. With the motto of ``tastes that can only be experienced at this restaurant,'' we have renewed our menu at the timing of a generational change and upgraded our popular ``Hoto.'' The miso used is Gomi Soy Sauce, a long-established miso shop in Yamanashi, and the two main types, Oyaji Hoto and Mom Hoto, have two different flavors, and are loved by men and women of all ages.
There are two types of hoto, each with a different seasoning: ``Oyaji hoto'', which is an old-fashioned hoto with spicy meat, and ``Ofukuro hoto'', which has a traditional gentle flavor. The craftsmanship shines not only in the catchy name but also in the taste. This is a masterpiece that has been carefully calculated to prevent vegetables such as pumpkin and carrots from collapsing, resulting in a rich texture. Furthermore, the ``Tender Loin Katsu Set Meal'', which uses the store's most recommended Koshu lactic acid bacteria pork ``Crystal Pork,'' is a thick and juicy cutlet that has many repeat customers. Serving it with ground sesame miso is also a nice touch.
Roastery “Yamano Roastery” has more than 70 kinds of beans from South America, Africa, and Asia.
Since opening in January 2021, it has become a popular store that many fans visit from inside and outside the prefecture.
Selected beans from all over the world can be roasted on the spot according to the mood and individual tastes of the time, and can be taken out fresh.
"The world of coffee has no answers. That's why we want you to find your own taste."
When the beans explode in the roasting machine, you can enjoy the live feeling of being fragrant all at once.
Takeout and sweets are also available, so if you're tired of cycling, it's perfect for a break!
The affogato, which combines rich vanilla with espresso, is delicious once you try it.
A long-established Lumiere Winery boasting a history of more than 34 years, is a place you'll want to stop by, even if you're a little further from Prefectural Route 130.
There are many award-winning wines in Japan and overseas, and all of them have elegant tastes that go well with Japanese dining tables.
In the winery tour, where you can touch on the history of Lumiere's tradition and innovation, you can see the fantastic underground cellar and the valuable brewing equipment for "Ishigura Washin", which is brewed in stone fermenters (30-minute course 500 yen / 1 Man).
After visiting the winery, go to the shop to look for souvenirs while soaking in the afterglow.
Starting with the popular brand "Ishigura Wan", there are more than 30 kinds of fruity sparkling wines and vinegar drinks, as well as original products that can only be found here.
We recommend the hop cider in a craft bottle that is easy to take home by bicycle. The refreshing scent of apples and hops and the light soda are perfect for spring!
Also, how about candy made with the rare grape variety Mills as a companion for your trip?
