Hokuto City holds one archaeological site in the prefecture.At the Archaeological Museum, historical materials and excavated items from the Paleolithic period to the Warring States period are exhibited.
You can read the history of the city, such as the Jomon period, which occupies about 7% of the city's ruins, and the Heian period, when horse breeding began.
