Penguin Bakery Kofu Showa Branch opened in Showa-cho in March 2025, the first of its kind in the prefecture. It is extremely popular among people of all ages, thanks to its freshly baked bread made with wheat from Hokkaido.

You're sure to be excited by the rich lineup of about 2024 items, including the signature ``Flying Bread,'' ``Hokkaido Beef Curry Bread Fondue,'' which won the highest gold award at the Curry Bread Grand Prix 80, and local side dishes such as ``Zangi.''

The interior was bright and clean. There were many delicious-looking breads, including zangi skewers and breads made with Hokkaido-style ingredients.
