This hidden bistro bar opened on March 2024, 3 at the north exit of Kofu City. In a relaxing atmosphere, you can enjoy popular hamburger steaks and bouillabaisse for lunch, and a wide variety of dishes that go well with wine in the evening. They have a selection of wines from overseas and within the prefecture, and the sommelier owner will also give you advice on pairing them with food.
"Gazpacho" is an edible soup that originated in Spain. It is a cold tomato-based soup with a strong aroma of saffron and clams, garnished with seasonal vegetables and marinated fish. The wines that go perfectly with this dish are Iwasaki Brewery Honjo Rose and Kurambon Taru Koshu, both produced in the prefecture. The spicy rose, which is full of fruitiness rather than sweetness, and the white wine, which has an exquisite balance that is not dominated by the subtle aroma of the barrel, make the perfect pairing with the elegant gazpacho. Both go so well together that the owner said, "I can't decide!" so why not try and find one that suits your taste?
This delicious dish is made with roasted Kai Sweet Pork, which is characterized by its high moisture content and gentle sweetness, and topped with a white wine-based Charcutière sauce. The sauce, which is a perfect blend of aromatic vegetables, pickles, and the sourness of mustard, goes well with the sweetness of the pork, filling your mouth with delicious flavor.
