"First Session" Report

Prior to the first session, public piano tuning started at 13:XNUMX.
One hour before the event started, many people had already gathered and there were people playing the piano one after another.
People who heard the sound also stopped walking, and a warm community was born centered on only one piano.

First of all, Mr. Aoyagi's solo performance.
Two songs including a medley that is a collection of songs that are perfect for summer are shown.
Some people start dancing to songs that everyone knows!

Then, "Entertainer" was performed by duet by Mr. Aoyagi and Mr. Ishii.
How, Mr. Ii is the first piano challenge this time!
It's a wonderful performance that I can't think of for the first time, and the breath of the two is perfect.

Here, special guest Aoyagi's younger brother (5 years old) appears!
At Yamanashi Street Piano, we want small children and people who have never played the piano to participate, so "Aim!We have prepared a content called "1000 frogs".
As a demonstration, my younger brother played a frog song.

  What is the Yamanashi Street Piano Team?

Sora Aoyagi, the founder of Yamanashi street piano, is a third-year high school student who loves piano.
Mr. Aoyagi has long wanted to install a street piano in Yamanashi Prefecture, and he shared his thoughts on SNS.

However, there was no response, and nothing changed as it was.
Absolutely realized!With a firm determination, we researched street pianos in various places that have already been performed, and created a proposal based on the analysis.
This proposal was re-distributed on SNS.

The person who responded to this tweet was Ishii Sotaro, an entertainer who lives in Yamanashi, who will later become the representative of the Yamanashi street piano team.
I want to help local students realize their desire to "do something for the locals"!With that in mind, I started planning with Mr. Aoyagi.
After that, more supporters gathered, and finally the number of members became 16.
Members of a wide range of ages, from teens to 10s, included designers, photographers, and tuners, who used their skills to create the event.

Funds are raised by cloud found.
Since it was my first attempt, I couldn't make a clear outlook, and I started with the feeling that even half the price of the target amount of 10 yen would be enough ... but the target was achieved on the second day of opening.
As of August 8, when the installation of the Yamanashi street piano started, support was gathered about twice the target amount.
The piano to be installed was also provided by the supporter.
This piano was purchased about 50 years ago and hasn't been used for a long time.
Mr. Takahashi of the butcher shop "Meet Takahashi" in Fujikawa-cho, who provided the piano, said, "Thanks to this event, this piano will see the light of day for the first time in a long time. I think the piano is also happy."

Mr. Aoyagi who is also an examinee.
