Gently opening the door reveals a tranquil space predominantly decorated in green. This meticulously crafted shop is the result of owner Sueki's decision to open the business and his return to his hometown, taking two and a half years to finally complete. Serving as a cafe during the day and a bar at night, it's an oasis where locals can relax.

Starting as a pastry chef, Mr. Sueki expanded his horizons by working in restaurants in Tokyo, learning coffee in Kyoto and working as a barista, and gradually getting into alcohol as well. He carefully brews a cup of medium-dark roast coffee using the hand-drip method, which pairs well with any sweets.

Made with a generous amount of dark chocolate and baked in a water bath, this gateau chocolat is moist, rich, and melts smoothly in your mouth, almost like raw chocolate. It promises a blissful break time with a slightly bitter cup of coffee.

The "matcha latte," made with matcha prepared fresh for each order, boasts a fragrant and rich flavor. The bitterness and aroma of the matcha stand up to the milk, making it a perfect pairing with sweets.

They offer 5-6 kinds of sweets, with muffins and cakes changing daily. Met's style is to keep the sweetness to a minimum using brown sugar and to keep things simple without adding anything unnecessary. Today's lemon and cream cheese muffin has a light and crispy texture with a refreshing tartness that is just right. The contrast in texture from the crumble on top is also delightful.

During bar hours, you can enjoy a variety of cocktails and snacks crafted by bartender Sueki. Of course, you can also have tea in the evening, so enjoy yourself according to your mood that day.
