The largest-scale hotel ever! The nature-friendly hotel "BLANC YATSUGATAKE" will have its long-awaited grand opening on April 24, 2026.
Nestled amidst stunning natural beauty, offering views of the Southern Alps and the majestic Yatsugatake Mountains, this location is truly a "world of its own in the sky"! Indeed, travel always transports us to such extraordinary places. You don't even need to travel far; in just a few minutes, right here in Yamanashi, you can experience a time completely detached from everyday life.

"BLANC YATSUGATAKE," where you can fully experience the wonderful and unique charm of "Yatsugatake" with all your senses, will open on April 24, 2026. Located on a 9,500 square meter site, it features independent trailer house hotels that enable sustainable stays while protecting the rich natural environment. There are 19 guest rooms in total, with four types, and each unit is equipped with a private open-air hot spring bath.

The "Suite Villa" features a bathroom on a terrace seamlessly connected to the living room, with the bedrooms in a separate building next door, accommodating up to 5 guests. The blinds connecting the bathroom to the outdoors can be opened and closed automatically, so when closed it becomes a warm indoor bath even in winter, and when opened it transforms into a semi-open-air bath where you can soak in the tub while becoming one with the scenery. You can enjoy the natural hot spring water that gushes from within the property to your heart's content.

The open-air bath in the "Standard Villa" is a complete contrast, quite wild! It feels like you're in the middle of a forest, and you can take a bath whenever you like without worrying about the time.(There are curtains, so you don't have to worry about the cold.)
And what's particularly noteworthy is the large panoramic view! The design allows you to instantly become one with nature as soon as you lie down on the bed. You fall asleep in the stillness of nature, your eyelids waver at the sunlight and the rustling of the trees, and you wake up feeling like you've become one with nature. This sense of immersion...it's incredible. And of course, the pajamas are the recovery wear "BAKUNE"!

As night enveloped the surroundings, the landscape quietly blurred its outlines, and nature began to breathe the night. Such changes are small observations that we don't usually notice in our daily lives.

Meals are served at the restaurant "SOIL". This restaurant offers locally sourced gastronomy that reflects the rich nature of Yatsugatake and the culture of Yamanashi. It's an opportunity for tourists, of course, but even for locals like myself, to rediscover the richness of Yamanashi that we often overlook. Wine, local sake, colorful fresh vegetables... all are precious treasures nurtured by the land of Yamanashi and the hands of wonderful producers.

The main focus is game meat. It's not just healthy and delicious, being high in protein and low in fat, but it's also connected to a story about the serious damage to agriculture and forestry in Yamanashi, the effective use of life, and ultimately, protecting the mountains.

After dinner, enjoy a bonfire in the observation area and make s'mores. Roast them over the fire, sandwich them between chocolate and biscuits for a deliciously gooey experience. The flickering flames, the crackling of the burning wood, the scent of smoke...all of it permeates your body like music, and is absorbed into the night.

From the silence, the sunlight, the chirping of birds, and the rustling of trees awaken me. A sublime sense of resonance...everything becomes clear, the pulse of nature and my own pulse merge, and gradually the scenery comes alive with color. The restaurant building from yesterday has been completely transformed for the morning, and I enjoy a hearty Japanese breakfast. It's a simple yet energizing meal that nourishes both mind and body, a perfect way to start the day.

Escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and simply melt into nature. A retreat where you breathe in harmony with the forest, listen to the pulse of the earth on your skin, and create space within yourself.
