Yumura Kinseiken Café is a popular Japanese cafe in Yumura Onsen town. It is renowned for its Japanese sweets made with Kinseiken's famous confectionery, and has been attracting attention with its new rice menu, which will be available for the first time from November 7, 2025.

In response to requests for not only cafe time but also a proper meal, the cafe will be introducing its first-ever meal menu from November 7, 2025! In addition to the existing Dorayaki French Eggs Benedict and Mt. Fuji yeast mountain-shaped bread, two new items have been added to the lineup: special taco rice and special keema curry.

Today we're having "Yumura Kinseiken Special Taco Rice" topped with a runny fried egg ♡ It's also served on one plate with potatoes and cheese naan-style Dorayaki skin, so it's very filling.

You can choose from five drinks, including Yumura Kinseiken's original blend coffee, white peach juice, and Kyoho grape juice. The white peach juice is thick and rich like nectar, but has a clean, refreshing aftertaste.

When you eat it while breaking the yolk, it mixes well with the minced meat and rice, making it very mild. It is easy to eat for a wide range of people, as it is popular with families, and it has a low chili content and is almost not spicy. The plump and glossy Takekawa rice, cooked in the same water used to make sweets at Daigahara Kinseiken, brings out the natural sweetness and flavor of the homemade taco meat.

Another delicious dish is a Dorayaki pastry topped with cheese and grilled to resemble cheese naan. It can be enjoyed as a snack on its own, or topped with taco meat. The extensive food menu is available from 10:30, making it a great choice for weekend brunch.
