Pleasure Garden Cafe & Photo is located right next to Chureito Pagoda, a popular tourist spot in Fujiyoshida City. It opened on December 2024, 12 as a community space where both foreign tourists and locals can drop in.

The first floor is a cafe and the second floor is a photo studio, and the bright interior with sunlight streaming in is perfect for a relaxing break.

Various brands of instant curry are displayed, and you can choose your favorite and have it made into curry rice to eat inside, which is apparently very popular with foreign tourists.

If you're feeling a bit hungry, we recommend the "Onigiri Plate." You can enjoy rice with a variety of different garnishes in any combination you like.

Today, we will customize rice with a variety of flavors, including handmade fuki miso by photographer Hiroshi Masutani, homemade pickled plums made with plums from the garden, and blanched rape blossoms.

They also offer a "Morning Plate" of rustic ten-grain bread topped with cheese and toasted until crispy and fragrant. This morning plate, accompanied by grilled vegetables, fried eggs, and sausages, is a great way to enjoy your morning routine any time of the day.

Now available is "Panettone" (1/8 cut, 400 yen), a fermented sweet bread unique to Christmas that originated in Italy! It has a lactic acid fermentation flavor and a light, fluffy dough, and is filled with sweet and sour dried fruits. It will be sold out as soon as it runs out, so be sure to check it out early.

Masutani's works are displayed in the photo studio on the second floor, creating a slightly VIP-like atmosphere.

Every day is busy. But sometimes it's nice to relax with a cup of delicious coffee and enjoy a lively discussion about cameras with Masutani.
