Sakapan Cafe in Kamiishida, Kofu City will reopen on October 2024, 10! It is a new cafe opened by Sakapan Sisters, who used to operate a community space in Mitsugawa Honmachi, Kofu City, so I went there with the editor-in-chief right away.

The spacious interior, with a blue motif, was built from scratch by the owner and his son! It has both counter and table seating, making it a relaxing space to unwind.

The menu includes sandwiches and hamburgers that have been loved since the days of "Sakapan Sisters," and it's amazing that they make everything from bread to homemade. They use plenty of fresh vegetables, with the idea that "we want you to eat lots of vegetables." The seasonings are as additive-free as possible, so it's nice to be able to eat them with peace of mind.
Today, I decided to share the popular "Healthy Sandwich" and "Hamburger Sandwich" with the editor-in-chief. The sandwiches come with two pieces, so they're perfect for sharing! For an additional 2 yen, you can get vegetable soup, so I ordered that without hesitation.

The homemade whole wheat bread is crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside! Both are filled with plenty of vegetables, making them very filling. The hamburger steak in the "Hamburger Sandwich" is made with soy pulp and soy milk as a binder, and the vegetable soup contains 10 kinds of vegetables, mushrooms, and Shichiken sake lees, making it a dish full of healthy ingredients.
Sakapan Craft Cola, made with lemongrass roasted green tea from the tea shop run by his son and about five to six kinds of spices, is not too sweet and is refreshing to drink.

They also offer takeaway cafe menu items and sell homemade bread and baked goods under the register, so you can easily enjoy them at home!
