Minami-Alps City is excited about the fact that Costco will be coming to Yamanashi Prefecture for the first time in spring 2025. Next spring, the Costco Wholesale Minami-Alps Warehouse Store will finally open next year, following "fumotto," which opened on June 2024, 6 ahead of Costco.

Right at the entrance, you'll see the best products and special price items from each warehouse store! If it's your first time at Costco, you can't go wrong by checking these out first.
At the Iruma Warehouse store where we conducted our interview, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts had just been released, so everyone was putting them in their carts.

In addition to essentials like toilet paper and kitchen paper, Costco has a wide selection of frozen foods, American-sized sweets like triple cheese tarts, and seasonal products.

This wrap is my most favorite consumable item. It's a great product that relieves you from the little stress of not being able to pull it out properly and getting all crumpled up or rolling it back up. It cuts cleanly, so you can start using it stress-free♪ The only downside is that it's a little big and it's hard to find a place to store it, but bigger is better!

And the one thing I always buy is this rotisserie chicken. It's appealing for its volume, enough for a family of four, and its price of 4 yen. It's moist and juicy, and if you shred it, it's easy for children to eat, too, so they gobble it up.

The most popular item in Costco's bread section is the dinner rolls. But my favorite is the croissants. They're big and fluffy, so you can put ham and cheese in between them to make a croissant sandwich, and they're delicious just as they are.
I also tried the Greek yogurt bread for the first time, it was sweet, fluffy and chewy - a hit!

In addition, there are countless other things I want, such as Costco's popular salted coho salmon fillets, Atlantic salmon fillets for sashimi, Sakuradori chicken, prime beef, and bulgogi beef... I held back and spent a total of 22,226 yen on today's purchases! I bought several of the same items, including some for my neighbors and my parents' house.

We expect to see an even bigger buying spree at Costco Wholesale Minami Alps Warehouse next spring.
